The TIU Men's and Women's cross country teams traveled to Champaign, IL for the Christie Clinic Illinois Half Marathon and 10k on Saturday April 27 to cap off their Spring training cycle. There were 6,199 runners in the 13.1 mile half marathon on a beautiful Spring morning. 

4/23/13 - Exactly one week after a bombing at the Boston Marathon that killed 3 and injured many others, several TIU cross country runners participated in a local charity run in support of the One Fund Boston Charity.

November 10, 2012- The TIU Cross Country teams traveled to Cedarville, OH for the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship race hosted by Cedarville University. TIU placed 29^th out of 39 teams on an open, windy, and rolling course.

November 3, 2012- The TIU Men's Cross Country team traveled to Channahon, IL for the Chicagolands Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championship hosted by University of St. Francis. TIU placed 9^th out of 12 teams on a fast course in cool, dry conditions.

Saturday October 20, 2012- TIU Men's Cross Country traveled to Grand Rapids, MI to race the largest field of their season at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge 8k (4.97 mi) hosted by Aquinas College. There were 352 runners in the race. TIU placed 29^th out of 34 teams. Fellow CCAC member St. Francis won the meet with 50 points, followed by Shawnee State (64) and Aquinas (99).

Saturday October 6, 2012- TIU Men's Cross Country traveled to Greenfield Park near Milwaukee, WI to compete in the Warrior Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College.
