Libertyville, IL - On Wednesday, May 8th, over 45 TIU Student-Athletes, Coaches, Staff, Athletic Trainers and Family Members of Coaches served at the Feed My Starving Children site in Libertyville, Illinois. 79 boxes of food were completed in an hour and a half, each box containing 50 meals, which comes to a total of 3,950 meals packed.

[Cross Country] Trojans Run Far in Champaign

The TIU Men's and Women's cross country teams traveled to Champaign, IL for the Christie Clinic Illinois Half Marathon and 10k on Saturday April 27 to cap off their Spring training cycle. There were 6,199 runners in the 13.1 mile half marathon on a beautiful Spring morning.

[Baseball] Trinity Baseball stays Close with Judson

Elgin, IL - In one 9 inning game at Judson University Friday night TIU Baseball battled back and forth with the CCAC first place positioned team, Judson University (38-15 overall). Trinity pitcher A.J. Bruner gave up only 5 hits and 1 run on the night, and the Trojans stayed close the the Eagles in this first of three games.

Trinity is back in Deerfield on Saturday, April 27th for a doubleheader against Judson starting at noon.

Deerfield, IL - On Monday, April 22, Trinity hosted Illinois Institute of Technology for what developed into a long battle of Baseball between the two teams. Trinity's Dakota Pisarek earned the win in Game 1 with TIU earning three runs in the 3rd to take the win 4-2. Senior Gentry Nordstrom led the way in Game 2, pitching for 10.1 innings to keep the Trojans and Red Hawks battling. The Red Hawks took Game 2 after the 13th inning at 6-8.
