Head Coach
Susan A. Anderson, PGA golf professional, has taught at the Merit Club in Libertyville, IL since 1992.  In addition to golf, she has competed in tennis, basketball, badminton and softball.  In 1988, after four years with the professional tour (e.g. Futures, Players West, and LPGA Rail Classic), she became a teaching professional.

Sue has been a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ since 1977, when she attended a Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference at Colorado State University. Her walk with God has challenged and energized the way that she looks at competition.

While Sue looks forward to pursuing growth and excellence with the Trinity Women's Golf Program, her passion lies in encouraging the faith of the women that she will lead on the team.  "There are definite fundamentals at the foundation of every good golf swing. These fundamentals are necessary to produce consistent results that hold up under the pressure of competition. God's word gives us our foundation, the fundamentals of our faith that allow us to hold up under the pressure of life. And not only hold up under pressure, but to move out into the world, equipped by the Holy Spirit, to extend His love and grace and truth.  Many athletes are tempted to use God to further our sporting success. But my hope is that our team will seek to use golf to further God's desires."

Sue lives in Arlington Heights, with her husband Jim, daughters Becky and Maggie, and their miniature poodle, Snickers, where they attend The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.

This is what the LORD says:  "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom, or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD.  Jeremiah 9:23-24
