DEERFIELD, IL- Lady Trojans defeat Judson Eagles 54-42 at Meyer Sports Complex.

The Trojan Ladies came out slow in the first half allowing Lady Eagle's defense to get some easy transition baskets which found TIU trailing at the half by four (19-23) .  The second half was the opposite for the Lady Trojans, who came out on fire on defense, holding Judson to 1 point in the first 10 minutes allowing an 18-1 run.  Judson answered back on a late rally led by Diamond Richardson 15 points and 11 rebounds, but just wasn't enough to close out the game.

The Lady Trojans were led by senior duo Brittany Simon (Clinton Township,MI) and Christina Swangim (Chetek, WI) with 12 and 10 points.  Sophomore Diamond Richardson (Tomah, WI) pulled down 11 boards in the Victory.

Lady Trojans will travel to Hammond, IN to take on Purdue University Calumet on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 5:00pm.
