Chicago, IL * The Trojans failed to repeat their first half charge in the second, as Trinity International Men's Basketball Team lost to Roosevelt University 54-73 on Monday night despite despite the intense half.

The Trojans came back from an11-point deficit in the first half. TIU lost the lead almost immediately in the first half, though they did have the first point of the game. This would be the only lead by the Trojans in the game.

The team played well in the first half, converting 51.9% of attempted field goals.  Four points were scored on fast breaks,and 13 off of
turnovers. The game got away from the Trojans in the 8th minute of the second half, with Roosevelt leading by 10 points. T.J. Abrams scored the last points for  the Trojans with 2:55 on the clock.  In the remaining minutes of the game, Roosevelt would score another 8 points, ending the game with their largest lead (19 points) and bringing the final score to 54-73.

Dillon Wadsack put on an impressive show for the Trojans, grabbing a game-high 4 rebounds, converting on 2-2 free throws,and was the only player to score in the double digits, with 19 points on thegame.

The team is set to host Indiana University-South Bend on January 19.
