Currently attending Niles West High School, Schwenk has been a Varsity softball player for four years. She has been a co-captain for both her junior and senior years. Not only has she played for her school team, but she was also a member of the North Suburban Slammers Softball Team her freshman year and a player on the Chicago Fireworks Softball Team for the past three years. Her team won first place in the AFA 16U National Softball Tournament in 2008 as well.
Schwenk has been involved in both the band and the orchestra at her high school, as well as the athletic training club. Her last two years she has also been a member of the Niles West Athletics Committed to Excellence Club. She has interests in pursuing athletic training, secondary physical education, and Special Ed. Schwenk is a member of the honor role and a part of the Northshore Honors Band.
