DEERFIELD, IL - The Trinity International University women's softball team hosted conference rival Judson University Wednesday afternoon.

It was senior day at Trinity on Wednesday afternoon. The seniors were honored in between the doubleheader games. The seniors this year were Kara Walz and Whitney Folven.

The Trojans worked together well and took game one.  Tara Faulkner gave up 3 hits and struck out 3 through 7 innings.  The bottom of the 7th the score was still tied at 1 apiece, when Stephanie Johnson and Jesse Cernek started off the inning by getting back to back singles.  The Eagles couldn't get there momentum back as an error off the bat of Faulkner led to the winning run in walk off fashion,  beating Judson 2-1.

In game two the Trojan ladies battled hard and showed a lot of heart, but it was not enough to beat the Eagles again. The Trojans lost game two, 9-3.  Katie Kiscellus pitched extremely well  holding the Eagles to 3 runs through 5 innings, but the 6th inning proved to be the big inning for Judson as they scored 5 to put the Trojans away.
