Joni comes to TIU from Greenville High School in Greenville, IL, where she contributed to a win in the championship match of the IHSA Class 2A Alton Marquette Regional. At Greenville, she competed as a 3-sport athlete in volleyball, soccer and basketball. In 2009 as a senior, Joni received 1^st Team All Conference in the South Central Conference (IL), and Best Offense Award for her team. A captain of both her volleyball and soccer teams, Joni is an instinctive leader. 

"Joni is a great contribution to our roster", Coach Rokosik said. "Her positive attitude, athleticism, and energy will be valuable to our team's chemistry. Joni is a tremendous young woman, and determined athlete. We will look for her to make significant contributions in her time here at Trinity." 

Joni is interested in studying Athletic Training. She is the daughter of David and Joanna Hoag and resides in Greenville, IL.
