DEERFIELD, IL - The Trinity International University women's softball team played a doubleheader at home Wednesday afternoon against Cardinal Stritch University.

In game one of Wednesday's doubleheader, the Trojans were able to score four runs total. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Niki Eisenberg scored a home run to secure the Trojan win. The final score was 4-2.

In game two, even though Britteny Wiesensel scored a home run, the Trojans were unable to sustain another win. Even though Weisensel's home run was in the fourth inning, Stritch answered back with a grand slam to secure the win. The final score was 6-2.

The Trojans will play again on Thursday, April 1 at St. Xavier University at 3:00pm.
