ANCHORAGE AK - The Trojans made the long trek to Wells Fargo Arena to take on NCAA D2 opponent Anchorage Alaska University in a two day doubleheader.  In game one of the doubleheader the Trojans kept it close early trailing 38-30 at the break but in the end don't have enough firepower falling 87-57.   The game began as a back and forth affair with the Trojans knocking down three quick 3 pointers to take an early 10-9 lead on the Sea wolves.  Ignus Verbus (JR, Lithuania) and Tyrone Smith (JR, Detroit MI) would lead the Trojans most of the way with each player dumping in 13 points.  The Trojans would extend their lead to 14-11 with 13:31 to play.  However, a big three pointer by the Sea wolves tied the game up at 14.  Every time the Trojans would try to put some distance between themselves and Anchorage.  The Seawolves would hit a big shot to keep it close.  Finally with 12:00 minutes remaining in the first half the Trojans would see their last lead of the game vanish as the Sea Wolves would knock down yet another three to take a 19-17 lead.  That three would kick off a 22-2 run that would put the Sea Wolves ahead for good.
