RIVERSIDE, CA - The Trinity's women's basketball team played against California Baptist University on Tuesday night. 

California Baptist University managed to fight through 27 turnovers to put away Trinity International University, 93-50. 

There were 66 total turnovers between both teams as the Trojans handed California Baptist the ball 39 times. California Baptist scored nearly half of its points off of turnovers with 46. The Lancer bench also out scored TIU's bench, 45-14. 

CBU didn't hold a lead bigger than seven points through the first 15:23 in the game. CBU led just 29-24 with 5:21 left in the first half before an 8-0 run gave the Lancers a 37-24 lead. Trinity never got back within single digits. The closest the Trojans came from that point on was 39-29 before the Lancers took a 45-31 lead at the half. 

The Lancers opened the second half with a 25-5 run to take a 70-36 lead with 11:53 to play. The Lancers took their biggest lead with 44 seconds left at 93-49 on a layup. 

The Trojans will play again Wednesday December 30 at 6:00pm against Westmont College.
