The Trinity Trojan Women's Volleyball Team began the evening by honoring the three graduating seniors: Carly Yattaw, Sam Zehr, and Jacqui Thomson. The atmosphere was thick with excitement and anticipation as the bleachers were full of loud supporters. All three seniors started the match and played extremely well. The Trojans dominated the match, leading to the win in three games (25-20, 25-14, 25-18).
Senior Carly Yattaw led the attack with 8 kills, while fellow senior Sam Zehr followed with 7 kills. Katie Wilson also totaled 5 kills. Yattaw had a .300 attack percentage, Zehr had a .286, and Wilson had a .556.
Defensively Tayler Arseneau and Katie Wilson led blocks with 2 each. The team had a total of 9 team blocks. Allison Kingsbury led digs with 13.
The Trojans overall record is 18-16 and their conference record is 5-5. They will play Friday, November 6th at noon vs. University of St. Francis, Friday at 7pm vs Illinois Institute of Technology, and Saturday at noon vs Cardinal Stritch University in the first round of the CCAC Tournament at University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL).
