DEERFIELD, IL - Trinity International volleyball outdueled Robert Morris University in three sets and have won 5 of their past 6 matches.

Trojan volleyball came out ready to defend their home court tonight. The match began with the Trojans showing the Eagles they were ready to fight. To start it off right, Trinity scored a number of kills before Robert Morris could even get on the scoreboard.

As usual, Tayler Arseneau led the attack in kills with 16 and a .209 attack percentage. She pounded out kill after kill, not leaving much room for the Eagles of Robert Morris to answer back.

The Trojans had 6 aces, with Allison Kingsbury and Lindy Monhollan owning 2 each.

Head Coach Jill Rokosik echoed, "The team played an aggressive match tonight against Robert Morris.  We combined for a total of 6 aces, led by Allison Kingsbury and Lindy Monhollon and collectively hit a .244, led by our middles Chelsie Shields and Katie Wilson.  We are improving in each match and each member is finding a way to contribute.  It is an exciting time for TIU Volleyball!"

Tonight's match moves the Trojan's overall record to 17-15 and their conference record to 4-4. They will play at home again on Thursday night at 7:00pm against conference opponent Cardinal Stritch University.
