DEERFIELD, IL - The Lady Trojans rolled to a straight set victory over St. Xavier University tonight at the Meyers Sports Complex.

The Lady Trojans came out strong in tonight's match against conference opponent, St. Xavier University (14-18).  The ladies were strong and unified, slamming down kills one after another. The Trojans owned the home court advantage and would not let the Cougars answer back with much fight. Trinity won the match in three games (25-17, 25-18, 25-14).

Head Coach Jill Rokosik commented, "The team came out strong and determined this evening against a solid opponent in our conference.  I am proud of the intensity and confidence that we displayed.  We are connecting well at a pivotal point in our season and I am excited about what is to come."

Carly Yattaw led the offensive attack with 12 kills and a .243 attack percentage. Tayler Arseneau followed closely behind with 9 kills and a .207 attack percentage. Arseneau led digs with 19, while Allison Kingsbury also had 18 digs.

The team's overall record is now 14-15 and their conference record is 4-4.

The volleyball team will play again on Saturday in a tri-match at Lake Forest College. Trinity will play at 1:00pm against Grinnell College and again at 3:00pm against Lake Forest College.
