Through sleet and cold winds, the Lady Trojans pulled away a 1-0 victory over Cardinal Stritch in Milwaukee, WI.

The Lady Trojans have faced many forms of adversity throughout the season; today - it was the weather.  While missing a few key players, the Trojans battled strong and hard.  Four minutes into the game sophomore, Diana Anderson, nailed a shot from 20 yards out hitting the crossbar. 

The Trojans dominated the majority of the first half.  They found the back of the net with 20 seconds left in the half when senior, Njoki Mutua, connected off a free kick from senior, Jenny Schonewill.

The Trojans entered halftime with a lead of 1-0.

Cardinal Stritch created a few scoring chances Font Nameduring the game.  Senior, Kacie Sheridan, stepped up huge as backup goalkeeper.  She had 2 key saves and held a shut out for TIU.

The Trojans are now 2-3 in conference and 4-7-1 in the regular season.  The play will return to the home field in Deerfield at 4:00 PM against Holy Cross on Tuesday, October 13.
