OCT. 7 - Lady Trojans had hoped to gain another victory Wednesday night, but Robert Morris came out on top in an overtime victory. The Lady Tojans entered the match with momentum from last Saturday's win over Judson College.  The tempo of the game was quick and fast as they played on Robert Morris' home turf in Bensenville, Illinois.

Both teams had scoring opportunities in the first half, but were unable to complete their finishes and entered halftime scoreless.

The Lady Trojans turned on the heat in the 2nd half.  They possessed well and created numerous scoring opportunities, but again were unable to finish the ball and each team finished the 2nd half without a goal on the board.

OT began with the Lady Trojans shout in the center circle, "We love overtime!"  The Lady Trojans came out with increased intensity and hoped to put one away.  However, just 3 minutes into the half Robert Morris' forward, Gifty Appiah, found herself on a 1 v 1 situation breaking past the Trojan defense, slipping the ball past Rebecca Niedermeyer going on to score the golden goal to win the game 1 - 0.

The Lady Trojans sit at 3-7-1.  They will play Cardinal Stritch at 12 PM on Saturday, October 10 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
