Homecoming festivities were underway as the Lady Trojans resumed play against Spring Arbor after a two week break.

The Trojans came out to play with fire and heart.  The dominated the aerial battle winning 38/45 headers.  They held possession for the majority of the 1st half but both teams entered halftime scoreless.

The Cougars stepped it up a notch in the 2nd half spreading out the field which allowed them space to knock the ball around and possess.  The Lady Trojans continued to work hard and battle.  However, in the 56th minute of the game senior, Heidi Sharp, from Jackson, Michigan broke through the Trojan defense and scored the first goal of the game.

The Trojans tried to switch up their attack and never let up.  However, they could not find the back of the net and had a total of 3 shots for the game.  The game ended with the Trojans losing 0-1.  Their record is now 2-1-4.  They will resume play against Olivette Nazarene on Wednesday, September 23 in Bourbonnais, IL.
