DEERFIELD, IL - Trinity International will travel to Anchorage, Alaska for two games against NCAA Division II opponent University of Alaska-Anchorage, December 30 and 31.
Coach Euler isn't crazy-- Alaska in the winter-- or is he? The Trojan men will be taking an unusual trip this season to Alaska to play a couple of guarantee games with one of the top NCAA DII programs in the country, the University of Alaska of Anchorage. Coach Euler who played for conference rival Alaska Fairbanks is familiar with the Seawolves, "They are an excellent basketball program, with outstanding coaches and Alaska is an unbelievable place to visit and live. I thought it would be a great experience and a great opportunity to play a very good basketball team and have an opportunity of a lifetime for many of our players who hail about as far away from Alaska as you can get. Our guys will love the state and will love the competition. We will use the opportunity to unite our team as we prepare for the important conference season that will start upon our return to Illinois" comments Coach Euler.
