Feb 25 - The Trinity International University Football team is excited to announce the addition of 6 new recruits to the 2009 class.

Roger Williams, David Slater, Conrad Ognibene, Joseph Juns, Cory Prudhomme, and Bryan Hansen have all signed a letter of intent to play for Trinity International University.  These six young men look to be part of the foundation for the future of Trojan football.

Roger Williams - Roger is a 6'0'' 215lbs, TE from Chicago Hope Academy.  He is a versatile athlete who is strong enough to block a Defensive end and athletic enough to catch a seam route.

David Slater - David is a 5'8'' 185lbs, DB from Chicago Hope Academy.  He was consistently matched up against the opponents best receiver during his senior year.  Off the field, David was a student Ambassador for Chicago Hope and is a great representation of the type of person that his school produces.

Conrad Ognibene - Conrad is a 6'1'' 185lbs QB from Rockford Christian High School.  He was an all state performer who also played FS, K, P, KR, and PR his senior year.  Conrad was a four year starter at Rockford Christian and plays 3 sports.

Bryan Hansen - Bryan is a 6'1'' 200lbs  Qb from Sandburg High School.  He is a dual threat quarterback who possesses an accurate arm.  Bryan demonstrates the characteristics that the Trinity Football program desires to push forward in the Mid-States Football Association.

Joseph Juns - Joseph is a 6'5'' 310lbs OL from St. Edwards High School.  He posseses the unique ability to carry a very large frame and be light on his feet at the same time.  Off the field, Joe is a delight to his teachers and classmates.

Cory Prudhomme - Cory is a 6'0'' 190lbs WR from Hart High School.  He was a second team all area athlete his senior season.  Coach Gims calls Corey "a perfect fit for our university athletically, academically and spiritually".  Academically Cory has earned a 3.4 GPA and has taken on many leadership roles in his high school.

Needless to say the coaching staff is very excited about the new addition to the program. All six of these young men are a great fit athletically, academically and spiritually. The Trojan family looks forward to having them join the team in August for the upcoming season.
