Feb 14 - The Eagles of Judson hammered out two victories on Saturday, first defeating the Lady Trojans 67-60 and later the men 71-64.  The wins marked the 2nd time this season Judson has gotten the best of TIU's men and women's squads in the same night.

In the opening game the score stayed tied or near that for just over four minutes until Trinity International would go on an impressive 18-4 and lead 26-12.  Reanna Perara  was a big part of that surge and would finish the game with a career high in rebounds at 19.  She also poured in 19 points.

Though, the Lady Trojans led by 14 in the first half, it would become much closer with the lead shrinking to 3 at half.  In the 2nd half the Lady Eagles of Judson would shoot 55% to stretch out ahead that would eventually end in a 67-60 Trojan defeat.

Judson was paced by Kristen Johns who scored 23 points and pulled down 12 boards.  Melanie Duplessis scored 13 for TIU.

In the men's game, the Judson Eagles extended their winning streak to 6, led by freshman guard Dewayne Robinson (16 points).  The game started rough for TIU as they got down 19-4 in the first seven minutes.  Judson expanded that lead to 25, 35-10, with about 3:32 to go in the first half. 

In the sencond half, Judson's lead would stay near 20 minutes until the Trojans, mounted a firece 14-3 push in the final few minutes.  The comeback, however, would not be enough, as the final score posted at 73-64.

The Trojans were lead by sophomore center Ignas Verbus, 13 points.

The TIU men and women with return to action at Calumet College of St. Jospeh's on Wednesday, February 18 with the women playing at 5:30 and the men at 7:30 CST.  Both TIU teams beat CCSJ earlier in the season.
