Feb 10 - At 9:00am Tuesday morning, Brian Deighton, a WR from Meade High School in Kansas, signed his letter of intent to join the Trinity football team next fall.
   

Brian was an all-state reciever as a junior and free safety as a senior at Meade High School.  This past year they went 10-2 and had a successfull playoff run.  Not only does Brian excell on the field but he is a very bright student as well.  He has a 3.9GPA with a 29 ACT and has interviewed for the Kantzer Scholarship, Trinity's highest award.  TIU's recruiting coordinator Kirk Wherrit says of him,  "Brian will be a tremendous addition, spiritually, academically, and on the football field to the Trojan family."
