Dec. 3 - The TIU Lady Trojans soccer team knocked off Asbury College 6-1 today to advance to the semi finals of the NCCAA National Tournament.
 
The Lady Trojans offensive was too much for Asbury to contain as they exploded for 6 goals including 4 by freshman forward Diana Anderson (Bourbonnais, IL).  Senior forward Madelyn Gould (Thornton, CO) and sophomore defender Michelle Renaud (Pella, IA) chipped in with a goal a piece, while senior forward Ruth Kratzer (Los Alamos, NM) tallied two assists.  Asbury's lone goal was scroed by Carol Fogler.

With the win the Lady Torjans advance to the semi final game to be played on Thursday, December 4 in Kissimmee, Florida.  TIU will play fellow CCAC member Olivet Nazarene at 1:30 CST.  TIU split on the year with Olivet winning 2-0 and losing 4-1.
